It’s honestly hard to believe that it’s already July. 2019 has been flying by so the ToughGuard20 team thought we’d take this opportunity to stop and look back on the work we’ve been doing this year. Our 2019 has seen a mix of large-scale commercial jobs and smaller residential projects. Today we’ll talk you through some of the larger commercial fencing projects that have been keeping us busy this year.
Lara Secondary College – 550 metres
The fence at Lara Secondary College was in desperate need of an upgrade. When we took on the job we made security, safety and durability our top priorities. We wanted to ensure the school grounds were as secure as possible so the staff and students could feel safe. We also wanted to ensure the fence could withstand any vandals or attempted break ins. With 550 metres of fencing, their new fence was an investment and we took extra measures to ensure it would last and stand the test of time.
Torquay College – 450 metres
Torquay College is a prep to year 6 school, meaning a safe and secure perimeter was our top priority. We installed our signature ToughGuard20 fencing panels between cypress posts for a softer, less imposing appearance. This combination gave the fence the perfect balance between practicality and appearance.
Highton Early Learning Centre – 240 metres
Designing the fence for the state-of-the-art childcare centre needed to balance aesthetics with security. Our team designed a fence that combines our aluminium posts with cypress posts to create a more diverse fencing look. This blends perfectly with the environment and balances durability and aesthetics.
Ramlegh Springs Early Learning and Swim Centre
This job had a lot of different boxes we needed to tick and required different fencing styles for different sections. The ELC had issues with strong winds blowing straight through the playground. To prevent this we installed a thick, clear Perspex sheet between the fencing rails. They wanted the bins and recycling kept out of sight, so we installed slat fencing around the bin area to create a neater appearance. This project was about creating a visually appealing fence that did what it needed to do. It’s designed for security, weather protection and to create a neat, appealing perimeter.
