Standard ToughGuard Warranty
All ToughGuard aluminium fencing and balustrading products come with:
10-Year Manufacturing Warranty
Covers defects in materials and workmanship from the date of delivery.
Powder Coating Warranty
Up to 25 year Powder Coat Warranties. Applicable where products are powder coated using Dulux architectural powder coating systems, in accordance with Dulux specifications.
These warranties ensure your fence remains structurally sound and visually durable when installed and maintained correctly.
Care & Maintenance Requirements
Proper care and maintenance are essential to ensure the longevity of your fence and to maintain warranty coverage.
General Cleaning

Hose down weekly using clean water to remove dirt and surface grime.

Every 2-3 months, clean using warm water, mild detergent, and a soft brush.

In coastal or industrial environments, increase cleaning frequency.

Pay particular attention to areas not naturally washed by rain.

Always rinse thoroughly with fresh water after cleaning.
Important
Do not use abrasive cleaners or household chemicals containing strong solvents, as these may damage the powder coated surface.
Use only pH-neutral cleaners. Avoid exposure to any ph-altering substances such as fertilisers, soil treatments, herbicides, pesticides, and concrete wash-off. If overspray or run-off occurs, rinse immediately with fresh water.
Failure to follow the above maintenance guidelines may void warranty coverage and increase the risk of corrosion.
Warranty Exclusions
Please note the ToughGuard warranty does not cover:
-Damage caused by ground movement, subsidence, or soil conditions.
-Damage resulting from improper installation, misuse, neglect, or unauthorised modifications.
-Products installed by installers not authorised by ToughGuard.
-Environmental exposure outside of specified coating limitations where maintenance requirements are not met.
-Normal wear and tear.
Warranty claims must be submitted in writing and within the applicable warranty period.
